There is an annual subscription for
membership of
£50 (£25 for card makers) due each February, and a
commission rate of 40% is
levied against work sold. Cheques for sales are sent out at the
beginning of
the 3rd week of each following month.
Work for sale at the Origin Dyfed
Gallery is
supplied on a sale or return basis by makers living and working in
Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion or Pembrokeshire.
Prospective members must first submit a selection of their work
to the
gallery for consideration by the gallery committee.
Work is selected on several grounds:
good
workmanship, professional finish, originality, attractive presentation,
being
in keeping with the gallery’s ambience, price range, display space
available,
compliance with Trading Standards regulations.
Space is restricted! The committee may
vote to
give new makers a 6-week trial period so that customers may make the
ultimate
decision with their buying power.
