I love the quality and intricacy of the etching process, the textured feel of aquatints or the velvety black of mezzotints, the use of the drawn line or a painterly effect but above all the fact that results cannot always be predicted with chance playing a great part in the results.
My work has a natural feel frequently focusing on landscapes, seascapes and flowers as I try to capture and portray an essence. My handmade silk paper cards continue this natural feel with different colours and textures and the fine art cards offer the opportunity to buy a small original etching at a very affordable price.
